SMS Terms & Consent

This page describes the Escape Tech Leaderboard Reminders SMS program — the messages you consent to receive, how consent is obtained, and how to opt out. It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Program Name

Escape Tech Leaderboard Reminders

Program Description

An internal, operational SMS program that reminds a small group of Escape Tech Enterprises employees (typically five) to record customer leaderboard scores when several days have passed without new entries, and alerts administrators when no bookings have been recorded (which would indicate a system issue rather than employee inaction). Messages relate to job duties only. No marketing, promotional, or third-party content is sent through this program.

Who Receives Messages

Messages are sent only to Escape Tech Enterprises employees who have verbally consented during onboarding to receive operational reminder texts, and to one administrator mobile number for system alerts. Messages are not sent to customers, prospects, or the general public.

How Consent Is Obtained

Consent is collected verbally during new-employee onboarding. A manager reads the consent script (below) verbatim to the new employee, who answers "yes" or "no." The following information is recorded in the employee's personnel record:

  • Employee name and mobile number
  • Date of consent
  • Name of the manager who obtained consent

Only numbers with a recorded "yes" are added to the SMS reminder configuration by an authorized system administrator. Employees may decline at any time and may opt out later by replying STOP.

Verbal Consent Script

“Escape Tech uses short text-message reminders to prompt our team to log customer leaderboard scores when a few days have passed with no new entries. Messages are sent from a U.S. phone number, arrive at most once per day, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out. Standard message and data rates may apply. Do you consent to receive these text messages?”

What Messages You Will Receive

Two types of messages may be sent:

  • Employee reminder: sent when no customer leaderboard scores have been recorded for several days and bookings have occurred.
  • Administrator alert: sent to the designated administrator when bookings themselves have not been recorded, which indicates a system issue rather than employee inaction.

Sample Messages

“Hey team! It has been a few days since our last leaderboard entry. Let's try to get some scores up on the board. Reply STOP to opt out.”
“Heads up — no bookings have been recorded in the system for the last 4 days. There may be an issue preventing bookings from coming through. Reply STOP to opt out.”

Message Frequency

Up to one (1) message per day per recipient.

Cost

Standard message and data rates may apply, based on your wireless carrier's plan. Escape Tech Enterprises does not charge for these messages.

HELP and STOP

  • Reply HELP or INFO to receive a help message with program information and this URL.
  • Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT, or REVOKE) at any time to opt out. A single confirmation message will be sent, after which no further messages will be delivered. You may rejoin later by contacting a manager or replying START.

Carriers

Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most other U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Your mobile number is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. It is used only to send the messages described above. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
